Start with the shape

The filter no other directory offers. Pick the form you can actually install, then narrow by purpose.

Or start with the job

Twenty categories, capped at three per tool so the filter still means something.

Once a week

The good ones, once a week

Everything published that week, one line each, plus the collection of the week. No digest, no sponsor filler, one click to leave.

One click to leave, in every issue. No sequence, no upsell.

Questions

Mostly from people about to submit something.

What is Growth Tools?

A catalogue of growth tools you can filter by what they actually run on — Chrome extension, web app, mobile app, Figma plugin — as well as what they are for. Every listing is reviewed by a person before it goes live, and each one gets a specimen number when it does.

How do I get my tool listed?

Fill in the form on the add-your-tool page. You do not need an account and you never will — we ask for an email so we can reach you and so you can track the submission. You will get a link showing your position in the queue and any note the reviewer leaves.

Does it cost anything to be listed?

No, and it never will. You cannot pay to be listed, to be reviewed sooner, to rank higher, or to be featured. Those are the only things a directory has to sell, and selling them would make every other listing on the site worthless.

Then what does the Promote page sell?

Sponsorship of the weekly newsletter, and nothing else. A sponsor buys a clearly marked slot in one email. It buys no listing, no position in the catalogue, no feature slot, and no faster review — and a sponsor's tool gets declined here on the same grounds as anyone else's. That line is the whole reason the rest of the site is worth reading. If it ever moves, this answer changes first.

How long does review take?

Most submissions are reviewed within five days. You can see exactly where yours is at any time from your tracking link, rather than waiting in silence.

What gets turned down?

Duplicates, dead links, waitlists with no usable product, and anything that is not genuinely a growth tool. Every decline comes with a reason in plain words, and most of them can be fixed and resubmitted.

Why does platform matter so much here?

Because “I need a Chrome extension that checks SERP positions” is how people actually search, and almost no directory lets you ask it. Platform is a first-class filter here, and every platform has its own page.

Can I save tools without signing up?

Yes. Anything you add to your stack is stored in your browser, and you can share the whole stack as a link. No account, so nothing to lose the password to — but clearing your browser data will clear it, so copy the link if you want to keep it.

How often is it updated?

Continuously as submissions come in, plus a weekly pass that re-checks links and pricing on existing listings. The newsletter goes out once a week with whatever was published.

Built something we’re missing?

No account, no fee, no queue-jumping. You get a tracking link and an honest answer.
